Your measuring checklist

Measure each wall at several heights. Note the smallest usable measurement and any differences.
Mark doors and windows on your sketch, including their opening direction.
Mark water supply, drainage, sockets, ventilation and appliances.
Take appliance dimensions from their technical sheets.
Distinguish outer cabinet dimensions from usable internal space.
Before ordering, check clearances, door opening, fixings and compatibility.
